About the creator of The Total Package, from her on mouth.

" We see so many Bio's that are so polished. I wanted to do something different, and let everyone know who I am without edited and polished words. Just my words."

I started crafting at a very early age. Honestly, I don't even like the word crafting anymore. It makes me think of folk art painted wooden stools. Or that OLD twist paper ribbon. YUCK!  I have nothing against it, it is just not my forte'.
My creativity actually started very young. I did not care very much for playing with other kids. I built things, studied elements, textures....I spent many years in my own creative world not even knowing what I was doing was creative. It is just what I enjoyed.

I never thought my career would ever focus around creativity. If anything I always tried to steer away from it. Reason being, My mother, an Interior Designer since the early 80's and still today, used to take me on those looonnngg decorating jobs.
It was sometimes an all day event and others into second decorating day. I DESPISED it. AGH AGONY! Yet, as much as I hated it, I watched, and thought as I watched....Asking why, how many, when......How is she going to fit that armoire in THAT corner? And so on.....I had to entertain myself somehow.

Art was my passion in the younger years, as well as in high school. I loved to draw. Charcoal my favorite. (Kind of funny when I think about it; I loved to draw trees and flowers and hills......)  After Graduation I went to
Cleveland State Community College for an Art major.
I kick myself every day for not finishing.  I left college because I wasn't sure how I would use an Art major in society.
Oh, if I only knew then what I know now.

I have been a Florist for 17 years to today. A lot of time with artificial and fresh. AND A LOT OF HOLIDAYS!
I have worked for numerous florists ~ unfortunately only found a couple I loved, and I had to leave both for moving out of state.
I still work with custom designing, but these past couple of years, I have wanted to do more.
I am working towards obtaining these certifications within the next five years.
ASID Certification (AI)
AIFD Certification
and
WPI (Wedding Planning Certification)

The Total Package begins....

March 2007 I had a vision. One of those visions you keep dreaming about night after night. Day after day.
I had never done that before in my life. I told a good friend of my idea, and she was floored. It was a good one.
The foundation of the business was built by wanting to help businesses like myself through good times and bad.  As well as those needing all of our services.

I have felt for too long that we all work against each other and not enough with one another...... Of course that is not just what made the idea good. Oh no, there is much, much more. The finalization hasn't come yet. I can tell no more...Some people like to take ideas as their own.
So we will just have to wait until the day God allows for me to financially bring to
Chattanooga the finalization.
Until then, I will be creating, meeting new people every day in the field, and getting those certifications. I want to be the Einstein of design   in every aspect.
I look forward to meeting new people with all the talents that are out there.
You all inspire me to achieve my goals.
Cheers to meeting even more artists everywhere and working together.

Yours in Art,

Dana Cooper
